Dr Grażyna Korbecka from the Department of Plant Breeding and Biotechnology visited the Department of Plant Sciences in Oxford, Great Britain (29 May - 5 June 2011). . During her visit, dr Korbecka discussed overlapping research interests and possibilities of future collaboration with researchers of this department. She also attended Basic and Applied Plant Population Biology Conference held in Oxford. The conference program covered a wide spectrum of topics in plant population biology ranging from plant invasions, plant mating systems, effects of the climate change on plant populations and plant-herbivore interactions. During this conference dr Korbecka gave an oral presentation on the variation of the mating system in Mercurialis annua. |
