The project management is oriented towards an optimal rate results/effort that shall maximise the efficient use of human and financial resources and guarantee the high quality of results. The day-to-day managing is conducted at two levels; the work package and the overall project management. The management structure is composed of a project coordinator (PC), work packages leaders (WPL) and a project team (PT). Two financial and administrative managers (FAM) will assist PC in his relevant activities including reporting tasks and financial audit.
Additionally, IUNG priority research areas managers (RAM) are selected to supervise the progress in collaboration between departments among RAs and scientific knowledge consolidation as a whole within each RA. The Advisory Board (AB) is composed of representatives of sixteen collaborating partners (CPS) from different European countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden) as well as PCT and representatives of each IUNG department. The Advisory Board is responsible for reviewing the technical and strategic aspects of the project, ensuring that project meets its objectives and that deliverables are produced on time and to budget. The meetings are scheduled four times during 42 months of the project. |
